I’ve been playing a lot with color in my tangling and have been working with Nicholson’s Peerless Transparent Paint, which is a natural dye-based watercolor paint infused into a thick paper. You make your own palette and mine contains most of the 72 or so colors. It is compact and easy to take along with a waterbrush and journal and you’re ready for the field. I drew this Zendala some time ago and wasn’t particularly happy or disappointed, it just didn’t grab me. Sooooo . . . I decided to give it a fiery watercolor border and I really like it now.
